In dritter Generation folgt Contender, der in Holstein Geschichte geschrieben hat. Er lieferte 129 gekörte Söhne, die in fast allen europäischen Warmblutzuchten eingesetzt sind. Seine Nachkommen sind erfolgreich bei fast allen internationalen Championaten und gewannen über 11 Millionen Euro.
Die überaus fruchtbare Urgroßmutter E-Catania II, selbst in der Jugend siegreich in Springpferdeprüfungen, lieferte in Holstein und Frankreich 15 Fohlen, darunter vier international erfolgreiche Springpferde.
Chalou repräsentiert den Holsteiner Stamm 1916, welcher u.a. eine der bedeutendsten Stuten Holsteins, die Wodka v. Lord der Familie Schoof hervorbrachte. Diese ist auch Urgroßmutter zum aktuellen Erfolgsgaranten Uricas van de Kattevennen von Harrie Smolders (NED). Zudem lieferte dieser Erfolgsstamm viele gekörte Hengste wie Arturo, Chadron, Clearway, Controe/Marco Kutscher, Conway I, Conway II, Laissez faire (Körsieger), Lord Inkognito, Malteser, Mowgli, sowie zahlreiche international erfolgreiche Pferde wie Antoinette/Dr. Josef Neckermann, Contour/Stany van Paesschen (BEL) und die Derbysiegerin 2009 Carassina/Thomas Kleis.
In 2024 wird voller Vorfreude sein erster Fohlenjahrgang erwartet und sein Debüt auf Springturnieren.

The I d-premium stallion of the 2024 OS licensing in Ankum presents himself as a high-class show jumper with all the attributes of a top athlete.
His elastic movement, a dreamlike canter and jumping qualities of the highest creditworthiness in terms of ability, leg technique and bascule make this young stallion particularly desirable.
The father Conthalou was the winner of the licensing and main premium in Oldenburg in 2019 and 2021 respectively and has had success in show jumping competitions up to medium (M) level, as you would expect for his age.
The dam, Utasha, a state premium and elite mare herself, has already produced three licensed stallions, including Chesternov (by Checkter, Oldbg. Showjumping Champion 5y. 2023), the premium stallion London Pezi, his licensed full brother Lord Weihaiwej (both by Lord Pezi) and several elite foals for the Oldenburg foal auction in Vechta.
The dam’s sire, Ustinov, was the winner of the 2004 KWPN stallion licensing and competed successfully at international level in sport under Caroline Müller.

With the youngster special, you can now cover your mare and only pay the stud fee when a live foal is born.
When registering or inseminating your mare, only a flat-rate fee of €150 plus VAT is to be paid.
The stud fee minus the already paid flat-rate fee is only due when foal is born in 2026.
The stud fee invoice will be issued in the month of the expected birth and is to be paid immediately after the foal is born.
