Nearco VDL van ‘t Merelsnest begeistert schon jetzt durch sein schier grenzenloses Vermögen. Er verfügt über drei sehr gute Grundgangarten und besitzt hohe Rittigkeitswerte. So beendete er seinen KWPN Performance Test mit einem Endergebnis von 76,5 Punkten. Vor allem sein Vermögen, Rittigkeit, Charakter und Einstellung wurden mit 8ter Noten beurteilt.
In 2023 und 2024 lieferte er seine ersten Fohlenjahrgänge, die durch Größe, Langbeinigkeit und Korrektheit geprägt waren. Parallel geht die sportliche Entwicklung weiter, so sammelte er 5 und 6jährig zahlreiche Platzierungen bis 1,30m.
